Choosing the right Pre-style cream variant for your hair comes down to two key factors and is based on your natural hair type, regardless of the style(s) you’re looking to achieve.
First, determine your hair shape. Our Pre-style cream is tailored to two groups of hair shapes: straight to wavy, and curly to coily. To find which applies to you, imagine your hair has been washed and left to air-dry. What shape do the majority of the strands take?
Second, decide your conditioning preference. If your hair strands are finer, or your overall hair density thinner, choose a light conditioning formula. If your hair is thicker, in strand diameter and/or density, or is more dry or damaged, you may prefer a rich conditioning formula.
Less is more with our Dyson Chitosan™ range. Our 0.22ml precision dosage pumps have been engineered to deliver the same lightweight textured dosage, pump after pump. We recommend starting with one or two pumps, building more as needed for your hair.
No. The best way to protect your hair from extreme heat damage, is to reduce your exposure to
extreme heat. At Dyson, we’ve engineered our hair care devices to style with control and less
reliance on heat. Specifically, our Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryers (up to 105°C), Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler (up to 150°C), and Dyson Airstrait™ wet to dry straightener (up to 165°C), are engineered to style with no extreme heat, therefore protecting against extreme heat damage.
If you’re using a different styling tool, you can choose to use a separate heat protection product on your hair.
