The Dyson CameraJet™ electric toothbrush has a camera to target gaps and precision-floss while you brush. The 100k pixel macro lens camera, powered by Gap Optical Targeting™, detects gaps between teeth. Once detected, the Conical jet releases a burst of mouth rinse to remove plaque as you brush, while the precisely contoured brush head cleans along the gumline and lifts surface stains.

Most other toothbrushes just brush, missing the gaps between the teeth. Many people then do not floss afterwards. With the Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush, you can automatically floss the gaps while you brush, removing more plaque than a manual toothbrush.

Yes, the Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush has three cleaning modes: Auto-jet and Brush, Auto-jet only, and Brush only. You can also choose from three Brush intensity modes (Gentle, Variable, and Deep clean) for a more personalised experience.

The Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush has been engineered with soft-to-medium stiffness end-rounded bristles for comfort while brushing, including for users with sensitive gums or gum disease. A Sensitive dual-bristle brush head is also available, which has softer bristles designed to be gentler on gums and enamel. For users with sensitive teeth, we also recommend using Dyson’s Sensitive non-foaming toothpaste.

Users with gum disease, ongoing dental treatment, or specific oral health concerns should consult their dental professional before use.

We recommend using Dyson’s Non-foaming toothpaste and Low-foaming mouth rinse, which have been scientifically engineered for accurate gap detection and targeted flossing with the Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush.

If you’re using other toothpaste and mouth rinse, we recommend pairing your Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush with an SLS-free, gel-type (non-foaming) toothpaste and clear mouth rinse. If excess foam builds up, clear the mouth regularly to maintain optimal performance.

Yes. By connecting your Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush to the MyDyson™ app, you can watch live cleaning footage as you brush, or inspect your teeth separately using the intraoral camera. You can also access guided cleaning, coverage mapping and clean session insights to improve your technique and support your oral health. App functionality may vary per country.

Yes. The Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush includes a travel case to protect your toothbrush and dock while at home or on the go. The device also has a travel safe mode to allow it to be carried in hand luggage – without draining the battery.

To clean your Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush after each use, remove and rinse the brush head and the tank, before pressing and holding the Jet button until no liquid comes out of the nozzle. Then rinse the device and leave the parts to air dry. Yes. The Dyson CameraJet™ electric toothbrush is IPX7 rated, which means it withstands immersion in water up to 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. The Dyson toothbrush can be used safely in the shower.

Dentists recommend changing your brush head every three months to maintain optimal hygiene and cleaning performance. Each Dyson Dual-bristle brush head is RFID enabled, so your Dyson toothbrush will alert you when the brush head needs to be replaced. 

For users who wear braces, the Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush can be used in Brush only mode, followed by manual jetting to clean between the teeth. String flossing can be particularly difficult when undergoing orthodontic treatment, making the Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush with precision-flosser a more convenient option to clean effectively.

Users undergoing orthodontic treatment should follow the advice of their orthodontist.

On a full charge, the Dyson CameraJet™ toothbrush’s battery lasts for up to 10 days. This is based on one brushing session and one session in Brush and Auto-jet mode per day in Gentle brushing mode.

The camera is used to support functionality such as automatic precision-flossing powered by Gap Optical Targeting™ and, if you choose, live viewing through the MyDyson™ app. It only operates when needed for these features and turns off when not in use. A white light indicates when the camera is active, and the 100k pixel macro lens camera is optimised for short range detection.

When using live viewing, images are streamed directly to your app in real time. They are not stored by Dyson, in the app or uploaded to the cloud. Dyson and third parties do not have access to this live view at any time.

Yes. During development of the CameraJet™ toothbrush, Dyson consulted with dental professionals and oral health researchers to help inform the product design and support recommended oral hygiene practices.
