Pull back the release catch under carrying handle.

Remove the hose
Remove Hose by pressing yellow catch either side and pull away from inlet.

Separate parts
Raise top of carrying handle.
Lift the bin out of the machine.

Remove cyclone top (lid) from the clear bin.

Clean the bin and cyclone
- Empty the bin of all dust and debris
- Clean the cyclone shroud holes using the brush tool

Check the duct, cyclone and carrying handle for blockages
Ensure the inner bin seal is not missing or damaged.
Check the cyclone inlet and openings for any blockages and remove as necessary.
Check the carrying handle and hose inlet for blockages and remove as necessary.

Test the suction
A whistle suggests that air is escaping due to a missing seal or blockage.
Remove the floor tool from the extension tube.
Ensure that the extension tube is fully extended.
Turn the machine on and place your hand at the base of the extension tube.
Is the suction strong or weaker than usual?

Pull the floor tool away from the metal extension tube.

Check the opening on the Cleaner head for blockages and remove as necessary.

Reassemble and test machine.

Separate the extension tube from the floor tool.

Separate the hose, Wand handle and extension.

Check the Wand handle for blockages at both ends and remove as necessary.

Remove the hose by pressing the yellow buttons and pulling away from the Main body.

Check the extension tube and hose for blockages and remove as necessary.

Reassemble and test machine.

Washing the filters
Press the release catch on the cyclone and raise the top of the machine.
Remove the washable long life filters from the machine.
WARNING: Wash the filter in cold water only. Do not use detergent. Do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine.
Repeat the steps shown below until the water runs clear.
Leave the filter to dry in a warm place for 12 hours, until completely dry.
Do not dry the filter in a tumble dryer, microwave, oven or near a naked flame.
Filters should be washed at least once every 3 months.

Thermal cut out

The serial number can be found on the rating plate, underneath the machine, between the two wheels.

Storing the accessories
Press the yellow release catch to open the storage cover.

Please note that the tools may feel warm when the machine has been running, this is completely normal.
How to use the floor tool
Fit the floor tool by pushing firmly into the end of the Wand.

For carpets adjust the control forward.
To use on hard floors, move the control back.

Attach the hose to the hose inlet on the front of the machine.

Clip the hose to the rear of the handle.
Clip the handle to the Wand.
Press the release catch on the wand to extend, ensuring it 'clicks' into place.
Attach the floor tool to the extension tube.
