Wipe the amplifier loop, shrouds and other parts with a clean, dry cloth. Pay special attention to the oscillating channels on the front of the amplifying loop.

Do not use detergents or polishes to clean the machine.

Checking for blockages
We'd recommend checking for blockages in the following places:
The air inlet holes on the shrouds. The small aperture inside the amplifier loop. The air inlet holes behind the filters. The soft plastic mesh, which is visible inside the machine when the evaporator is removed.

Remove any dust or debris with a soft brush.

Trickling or gurgling noise
Should the drip tray overfill, the machine's water return float is activated. As the water returns to the tank, a trickling or gurgling noise may be heard. The display screen will prompt that a deep clean cycle is to be run.

For a step by step guide on running a deep clean please continue to the next step.
A trickling or gurgling noise can be heard if the evaporator is missing. In this instance, please replace the evaporator in the machine.

If the evaporator is missing, to order a replacement, please select 'Evaporator' from the available options.

Deep cleaning your machine
To always get the best performance from your Dyson purifying humidifying fan, it is important to carry out regular deep cleaning to remove any limescale.
Your machine will alert you when it needs you to carry out a Deep clean cycle. If you are connected to the Dyson Link app, you will receive a notification message.
If you are not using the Dyson Link app, the LCD screen on your machine will alert you and the Deep clean cycle button will light up. To cancel the Deep clean cycle at any point, press and hold the Deep clean cycle button for five seconds.

Press the Deep clean cycle button on the front of your machine and your instructions will be shown on the LCD screen.
Push down on the Shroud release buttons to remove the shrouds. The inner door will spring open. Put the shrouds to one side as you carry out the Deep clean cycle.
Push down the Water tank release buttons on the sides of your machine. Slide the water tank out of your machine and unclip the cap.

Remove the evaporator from your machine, place it in the water tank and refit the cap.

Carry the water tank to the tap by its handle.
Remove the cap and evaporator. Fill the water tank halfway to the Max level with cold tap water.

Keep the lid on the water tank dry when you fill the tank or run a Deep clean cycle. The lid contains power connections and should not be washed. If wet, wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth. Make sure the lid and connections are completely dry before sliding the tank back into your machine.

Measure out 150g of citric acid powder and place it in the water tank.
Agitate gently until all of the citric acid powder has dissolved.
Place the evaporator in the water tank. Fill the water tank to the Max level with cold tap water.

Replace the cap and secure the cap clips in place. Wipe off any excess water to avoid drips.

Slide the water tank into your machine until it clicks securely in place.
When prompted by the LCD screen, press the Deep clean cycle button.
The Deep clean cycle will start and the LCD screen will show a countdown timer.

When the LCD screen shows the Deep clean cycle is complete, push down the water tank release buttons on the sides of your machine.
Slide the water tank out of your machine. Carry the water tank by its handle to the tap.

Unclip the cap, take the evaporator out of the water tank and rinse under a cold tap. Wipe away any excess water to avoid drips and place the evaporator to one side.
Rinse the water tank under a cold tap. Wipe the inside of the tank to remove any excess solution and any debris.

Refill the water tank to the Max level and wipe off any excess water and replace the cap, making sure that the cap clips are secured.

Push the evaporator back into your machine, making sure that it is securely in position. Close the inner door and replace the shrouds. Slide the water tank back into your machine and make sure it is securely in place.

Refit the water tank
Slide the water tank back into your machine until it clicks securely in place.

Remove the shrouds
Push down the Shroud release buttons on both sides of your machine to release the shrouds.

Check the filters in both shrouds are fitted correctly. The tabs on the top and bottom should have clicked into place.

Remove the filters from the shroud and refit.

Remove the evaporator and check the soft plastic mesh directly above where it seats inside the machine.

Put the shrouds into position on the main body and push gently until they click securely into place.

Check airflow direction
Press the airflow direction button on the remote control to switch between front and back airflow. An animation on the display will indicate which direction the airflow is in; holding your hand either side of the amplifier will also give an indication.

To always get the best performance from your Dyson purifying humidifying fan, it's important to regularly clean it and check for blockages.

If dust accumulates on the surface of your machine, wipe dust from the amplifier loop, shrouds and other parts with a clean, dry cloth.

Look for blockages in the air inlet holes on the shroud, the small aperture inside the amplifier loop and on the soft plastic mesh, which is visible inside the machine when the evaporator is removed.

Use a soft brush to remove dust and debris.

The airspeed can be adjusted from 1 - 10. 10 being the highest.

Please update the machine’s software by finding your chosen product in the Dyson link app and pressing the settings icon in the top right, then select your machines settings.
From here, navigate to the software option and make sure Auto-update is selected.

Ensure the lid on the water tank is dry. The lid contains power connections and should not be washed. If wet, wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth. Make sure the lid and connections are completely dry before sliding the tank back into your machine.
Restart the deep clean
Once the software has updated, please restart the deep clean by pressing the Deep clean cycle button and following the instructions on the LCD screen.

Checking your machines software information
To check your machines software information, whilst on the chosen product, press the settings icon in the top right, then select your machines settings.
from here, navigate to the software option. Here you can check the software version and enable/disable auto-update.

Press the Oscillation button to set the angle of oscillation to 0°, 45° ,90° or 'Breeze mode'.

Please be aware the whole product does not oscillate, the oscillation occurs from the oscillating channels inside the amplifying loop.

Purifying
Auto purify mode adjusts the airflow speed according to the air quality in the room. With Auto purify mode on, your machine will react to changes in the room's air quality.

Your machine will pause when the target air quality has been reached. It will resume when the air quality levels drop.

When your machine records a spike in PM2.5, PM10, VOC, or NO2, your machine will display the relevant pollutant icon.

The colour of the numbers and readings on the display are linked to the air quality of the respective category.
Green denotes a high air quality, with low pollutants, and red, low air quality with a high amount of pollutants.
Different categories can have different levels of pollutants at the same time, and will therefore display in different colours.

Severe/purple air quality
Severe/purple air quality denotes extremely low air quality with a high amount of pollutants.

Measure out 150g of citric acid powder and place it in the water tank.
Agitate gently until all of the citric acid powder has dissolved.
Place the evaporator in the water tank. Fill the water tank to the Max level with cold tap water.

Replace the cap and secure the cap clips in place. Wipe off any excess water to avoid drips.

Slide the water tank into your machine until it clicks securely in place.
When prompted by the LCD screen, press the Deep clean cycle button.
The Deep clean cycle will start and the LCD screen will show a countdown timer.

When the LCD screen shows the Deep clean cycle is complete, push down the water tank release buttons on the sides of your machine.
Slide the water tank out of your machine. Carry the water tank by its handle to the tap.

Unclip the cap, take the evaporator out of the water tank and rinse under a cold tap. Wipe away any excess water to avoid drips and place the evaporator to one side.
Rinse the water tank under a cold tap. Wipe the inside of the tank to remove any excess solution and any debris.

Refill the water tank to the Max level and wipe off any excess water and replace the cap, making sure that the cap clips are secured.

Push the evaporator back into your machine, making sure that it is securely in position. Close the inner door and replace the shrouds. Slide the water tank back into your machine and make sure it is securely in place.

Unplug your machine and leave it for at least 10 seconds.

If the issue persists, your filter may need replacing. Check your remaining filter life within your app. If the filter or evaporator life is showing depleted, the machine will not work.
Check that the room temperature is above the minimum 5℃ (41°F) for your machine to work.
When in Night mode, your machine will automatically sense the ambient light level and adjust the resting screen brightness accordingly.

If the room is bright, (for example, the lights are on), the screen's display will be set to minimum brightness. If the room is dark (lights off) the screen is turned off.
In both scenarios, when the machine is interacted with, the screen brightness will uplift.
Important information
Some filters may shed particles (MnO2) on the main body & lower body however the filter dust poses no health issue and will not reduce the filter performance. If you see signs of dust please follow the below steps:

Remove the filter from the packaging.

Use a clean cloth to clean the front and back plastic areas of the filter.
Step 3
Use a brush to clean the front and back plastic areas of the filter.
Step 4
Should the lower body of the machine display signs of dust, using a brush please brush away until the machine is free of dust.
Please do not touch the mesh area of the filter.
Ensure the correct button on remote is being pressed.

Point the remote directly at the front of the machine while pressing the button.

Test the other remote buttons
Test the other buttons on the remote.

Using the remote option in the app, check if the oscillation changes.
Changing the battery
Unscrew the remote control's battery compartment.

Loosen the base and pull it away from the remote. Replace the battery with type CR 2032.

The screen will alert you when your machine needs your attention.

Before you remove the water tank, make sure humidification modes are turned off and the water tank is empty.
Push down the Water tank release buttons on the sides of your machine. Slide the water tank out of your machine.
Carry the water tank by its handle to the tap, and unclip the cap.

Deep cleaning your machine
To always get the best performance from your Dyson purifying humidifying fan, it is important to carry out regular deep cleaning to remove any limescale.
Your machine will alert you when it needs you to carry out a Deep clean cycle. If you are connected to the Dyson Link app, you will receive a notification message.
If you are not using the Dyson Link app, the LCD screen on your machine will alert you and the Deep clean cycle button will light up. To cancel the Deep clean cycle at any point, press and hold the Deep clean cycle button for five seconds.

Press the Deep clean cycle button on the front of your machine and your instructions will be shown on the LCD screen.
Push down on the Shroud release buttons to remove the shrouds. The inner door will spring open. Put the shrouds to one side as you carry out the Deep clean cycle.
Push down the Water tank release buttons on the sides of your machine. Slide the water tank out of your machine and unclip the cap.

Remove the evaporator from your machine, place it in the water tank and refit the cap.

Carry the water tank to the tap by its handle.
Remove the cap and evaporator. Fill the water tank halfway to the Max level with cold tap water.

Use both hands to lift your Dyson purifying humidifying fan out of the box, by its base. Don't lift it out by the amplifier loop.
Push down the Shroud release buttons on both sides of your machine to release the shrouds. As the shrouds are removed the inner door, housing the evaporator, will spring open.

Close the inner door making sure it clicks firmly shut.
Remove the filters from any protective packaging.
Push the filters into both shrouds until the tabs on the top and bottom click into place.

Put the shrouds into position on the main body and push gently until they click securely into place.

Place the remote control on top of the machine with the buttons facing down. Plug in and switch on.

To always get the best performance from your Dyson purifying humidifying fan, it's important to regularly clean it and check for blockages.

Cleaning
If dust accumulates on the surface of your machine, wipe dust from the loop amplifier, shrouds and other parts with a clean, dry cloth.

Look for blockages in the air inlet holes on the shroud, the small aperture inside the amplifier loop and on the soft plastic mesh, which is visible inside the machine when the evaporator is removed.

Use a soft brush to remove dust and debris.

Don't use detergents or polishes to clean your machine.
