Check the motor's sound

Pull and hold the trigger for 10 seconds.

Does the machine pulsate and cut out without any tools?

Clear the floor tool

Undo one fastener to remove the brushbar.

Remove brushbar and clear away any hair or fibres. Check the opening for any blockages and remove as necessary.

Refit the brushbar and lock the fastener.

Reassemble and test the machine.

Check the bin inlet

With the bin removed, check the bin inlet flap for blockages and remove as necessary.

Ensure that it moves freely, fluff or fibres jamming the hinge can cause the flap to close resulting in low suction and pulsating noise.

Close the bin base hold the bin so that the inlet is pointing to the floor and shake the bin.

Does the bin rattle?

Check the cyclone

Clean shroud using brush part of combination tool.

Clear the centre of the cyclone of any dirt and debris.

Check that the seals are not missing or damaged.

FDC seal between the cyclone and the bin base.

Seal between the cyclone and the top of the clear bin.

Seal around the bin base.

Reassemble and test the machine

Has checking the cyclone and seals solved the problem?

Checking the wand

Remove the wand form the bin inlet.

Check both end of the wand for blockages and remove as neccessary.

Reassemble and test machine.

Clear the bin inlet flap

This indicates that the bin entry inlet is jammed.

Re-check the flap, push it open by hand a few times until it is free.

Can the flap be pushed open by hand?

Clear the floor tool

With the floor tool removed from the machine, turn over and undo the fastener.

Rotate the end cap to unlock and remove.

Remove the brushbar and clear away any hair or debris.

Check the openings for any blockages, remove as necessary and replace the brushbar.

Use a coin to lock the fastener.

Reassemble and test the machine.

Gently tap the side of the cyclone over a bin (This will remove any fine dust clogged up in the cyclone)

Check the cyclone

If the machine still pulsates with the clear bin and filter removed, the cyclone may be blocked.

Check inside the cyclone for blockages, gently tapping it on the side of a dustbin to remove any debris.

Re-test the machine.

Does the machine currently have power?

Check the motor's sound

Check MAX power LED

Press and hold the power trigger.

If the max button flashes 5 or less times please order a new main body.

If the max button flashes 7/8 times - the machine is too hot / cold.

Advise the customer to leave the machine in room temperature for 3.5hrs and then to re test the machine.

If the max button flashes 10 or more, there will be a blockage somewhere in the machine.

Is there a blue light on the MAX power light when the machine cuts out?

If the machine has no light on the 'Max' button, check the lights on the battery.

Check 'Max' Button

If the machine has no power and you have a blue light on the battery, please check the 'Max' button light and count the flashes for the following;

The flashes may appear quickly - so it will be best to check twice.

If the max button flashes 7/8 times - the machine is too hot / cold.

If the max button flashes 10 or more, there will be a blockage somewhere in the machine.

Remove the bin and turn on the machine

Press the bin release button to empty the bin.

With the bin base open, press the button again to remove the bin from the cyclone.

Now press the trigger on the main body.

Has this resolved the problem?

Removing the filter

Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the charger before removing the filter. Be careful not to pull the ‘ON ’ trigger.

To remove the filter, lift it out of the top of the appliance.

Note: Your appliance has one washable filter, located as shown.

Washing the filter

Wash the filter with cold water only.

Run water over the outside of the filter until the water runs clear.

Squeeze and twist with both hands to make sure the excess water is removed.

Note: The filter may require more frequent washing if vacuuming fine dust or if used mainly in ‘Powerful suction’ mode.

Filter drying

Lay the filter on its side to dry. Leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours.

WARNING: Do not put the filter in a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave or near an open flame.

Replacing the filter

To refit, place the dry filter back into the top of the appliance. Make sure it is seated properly.

Charge and check the light

Return to working temperature

This indicates that the machine is outside of it's normal operating temperature (5oc - 35oc).

Please place the machine in an area that stays within this temperature range and leave it to charge there for 3.5 hours.

Check the connection

The charger cable may be out of position in the dock.

Remove the charger by pushing charger pin firmly towards the back of the dock.

Once removed, refit by pushing the end of the charger (as you would put a pen into its lid) until it clicks.

Put the machine back on charge.

With the bin removed, undo the phillips head screw at the back of the handle.

Undo the phillips screw in the front of the main body.

Pull the battery down, out of the main body.

Press the button on the battery and watch the light on it's side.

Test the mini motorised head on a surface where it has previously stalled.

Does the brushbar spin while in contact with this surface?

Is this surface a long pile carpet?

Test the tool on a low pile carpet.

Does the brushbar spin whilst in contact with the low pile carpet?

The issue appears to be resolved

The brushbar may stall on long piled carpets and rugs, this is normal and helps prevent damage to the machine or surface.

Using the machine in standard (not max) power mode will help avoid this, although it may not be possible to use the motorised head on very long pile.

Check the electrical contacts

Press the red release catch to open the bin base.

Press the red catch again to release the cyclone top from the bin assembly.

Once the bin is removed, clean the bin electrical contacts and the main body electrical contacts.

NB: Please ensure the bin base is open when refitting the bin otherwise the contacts may not align correctly causing the Brush bar not to spin.

Ensure the machine is fully assembled, and pull the trigger.

Check the light at the base of the handle (not the Max Power indicator).

How to change power mode

Max mode provides 6 minutes of the highest suction power for tackling really stubborn tasks, including trodden-in grit or clinging pet hair.

To select Max mode, first hold down the red on/off trigger so the machine is running, then press and release the Max button on the rear of the machine.

When Max mode is selected, the Max button will light up. You’ll also hear the motor change pitch as the speed of the impeller increases. To change back to regular high power suction, just press and release the Max button again.

Has any part of the machine been washed?

Only the filter can be washed, the bin can be cleaned with a damp cloth only, and both must be completely dry before being refitted to the machine.

Were all the washed parts completely dry before the machine was used?

Under normal use, any unpleasant smell can only be caused by something the machine has picked up.

Put the machine in max power mode (the light on the max power button will illuminate when the trigger is pressed).

Pull and hold the trigger for 10 seconds.

How to clean the clear bin and cyclone

Remove the bin

Push the red button by the clear bin to open the bin base.

Press a second time to release the clear bin from the main body of the appliance.

Remove the clear bin carefully.

Clean the bin

Clean the clear bin with a damp cloth only.

Do not use detergents, polishes or air fresheners to clean the clear bin.

Do not put the clear bin in a dishwasher.

Clean the cyclone shroud

Clean the cyclone shroud with the brush on the combination tool to remove lint and dust.

Do not immerse the whole cyclone unit in water or pour water into the cyclones.

Refit the bin

Ensure the clear bin is completely dry before replacing.

To replace the clear bin, push the clear bin up and in to the main body of the appliance. It will click into place.

Close the clear bin base so it clicks into place and is secure.

Machine pick up

Under normal use, any unpleasant smell can only be caused by something the machine has picked up.

We would advise you to carry out the blockage checks.

Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the charger before removing the filter. Be careful not to pull the ‘ON ’ trigger.

Removing the filter

To remove the filter, lift it out of the top of the appliance.

Note: Your appliance has one washable filter, located as shown.

Washing the filter

Wash the filter with cold water only.

Run water over the outside of the filter until the water runs clear.

Squeeze and twist with both hands to make sure the excess water is removed.

Note: The filter may require more frequent washing if vacuuming fine dust or if used mainly in ‘Powerful suction’ mode.

Filter drying

Lay the filter on its side to dry. Leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours.

WARNING: Do not put the filter in a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave or near a naked flame.

Replacing the filter

To refit, place the dry filter back into the top of the appliance. Make sure it is seated properly.

Does the machine have power?

Clear the mini motorised head

With it removed from the machine, remove the brushbar from the mini motorised head.

Using scissors carefully cut any hair or fibres away from the brushbar.

Reassemble the tool and attach it to the machine.

Test the tool without putting it in contact with any surface

Does the brushbar still not work properly without any contact?

Charge the machine

Charge the machine for 30 seconds.

Does the machine have power after 30 seconds on charge?

Charge the machine fully

Plug the machine in and leave it to charge for 3.5 hours before calling back.

Fit the bin

Open the bin base

Locate lug at the front of the cyclone and the recess inside the top of the bin, in line with the release catch for the tools.

Push the lug end of cyclone in first at an angle and then push the bin in towards the main body until it clicks.

Close the bin base.

Separator tool

Please note that separation of the cyclone and main body can only done with the separator tool. The separator tool is included when ordering a replacement cyclone or main body.

Remove the cyclone

Push the separator tool up in the crevice between the cyclone and mainbody.

While the separator tool is pushed up into the crevice, pull the cyclone away from the main body until it is fully removed.

Fit the cyclone

Line up the main body and cyclone.

Push the cyclone and main body together firmly until they click in place.

If necessary, place the fitting tool onto the main body so that the retaining ring is compressed before fitting the main body and cyclone together.

Fit the battery

Press the bin release button to empty the bin.

With the bin base open, press the button again to remove the bin from the cyclone.

Locate and untighten the screw on the back of the main body handle, just above charger input.

Remove the battery by pulling it down.

Fit the new battery into the bottom of the main body.

Locate and tighten the screw below serial number sticker.

Reassemble and charge for 3.5 hours.

Battery hot to touch

When the machine has been in use the battery may feel hot to touch, however this will not be hot enough to cause any harm.

Clear the inlet

The flap can become jammed by a build up of dirt and debris.

Open the bin base by pressing the release button.

Press the button again to remove the bin from the cyclone.

Clear any debris from behind the inlet flap.

Re-assemble and test the machine.

What light?

Amber light while charging

If the machine was in Max power mode when it ran out of battery, an amber light may show while it is charging.

This is normal and the light will go off before the end of the charge. Please leave the machine for 3.5 hours to recharge fully.

Solid blue light

Solid blue light at the base of the main body.

Is the machine on charge or in use?

Normal usage

A solid blue light will show when the machine is being charged and will go out when charging is complete.

The battery should be fully charged after 3.5 hours.
