I have only used this once so far, but can see this is going to be a game-changer. Simple to use, efficient with good suction. I managed the whole of the upstairs and landing and then changed attachments to do the stairs - no more precariously balancing our heavy vacuum on the stairs. I really feel we will not be needing our previous vacuum. I haven't found this too heavy and had ample battery life to do everything. I spent a long time researching this and reading reviews, and plumped for the V8 because of the strength of suction and longer battery charge. It almost makes cleaning fun!
