Having read all of the reviews I went ahead and purchased the Dyson V8 Absolute but still had two niggles in the back of mind....enough charge time and enough suction? Well, would this device stack up to the price tag and more importantly the brand that I have come to trust.....YES ON ALL COUNTS!! I have wooden floors, tile floors and carpet and yes it really is incredibly powerful and simply gets the job done. As a man i thought i would have to hit the max power button....but i haven't needed to at all, it just does exactly what they tell you it will do. I honestly cannot fault this machine in any way. And the price...well....look at this way.....i would rather pay more than i expected and get FAR more than i expected. this machine gives me a clean home effortlessly and that is priceless is my busy world. :-)
