Dyson knows pets.

That's why the engineers at Dyson designed our vacuum cleaners with a range of features that ensure cleaning up after your pet is as painless as possible.

Why a Dyson is the most effective vacuum cleaner for pet owners

Motorised brushbar

Powerful suction alone isn’t sufficient to pick up stray pet hairs or dirt brought in from outdoors. So Dyson engineers developed an independently powered brush bar to deep clean carpets. Spinning at up to 5,400 revolutions per minute, the bristles are precisely positioned to work into carpet pile without obstructing the airflow.

Dyson Animal vacuums are also fitted with a sealed HEPA filter to capture microscopic particles such as bacteria, pet dander, mould spores and other allergens a pet can bring into the home.

Accessories

Dyson engineers put as much thought into developing Dyson tools as they do Dyson vacuums. A poorly-designed tool can waste suction, fail to pick up dust and dirt and cause overall performance of the vacuum to drop.
