The Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer works like a windscreen wiper, literally scraping water from hands with a 400mph sheet of air.  It takes ten seconds and the air used to dry hands is first purified using a HEPA filter.  The airflow is created by the Dyson digital motor, a new type of high-speed motor developed by Dyson engineers.
